We have used the Turning point technology twice at our staff conferences, the second time mainly because everyone wanted another go at it. I saw the technology in action at a government briefing session and believe me..........it was the only interesting thing there!!The initial reason was to capture feedback on our Training provision....and for the second year for a motivation questionnaire – and it seems that its not only money that gets our people going but good support, dynamic managers and extra time off!!!
I have since recommended the software to a couple of people and I think the word is out there. It really is a great tool, interactive and immediate...bit scary if you are asking contentious questions but I felt it kept us really honest and allowed us to react when the answer was not quite what we had expected and the audience really respected that.
I don't normally do stuff like this but I feel very strongly that this is a very important tool which will be really valuable to gain feedback for lots of different events.
