| An Ode to TurningPoint |
|
The following poem was written by Pam Marsh at St Mary's Catholic Primary School in Whitstable. As a result of sending it in to our 'Shameless Plug' team, Pam won her very own 'staffroom entertainment kit'. Want to be like Pam? Visit our Shameless Plugs details page to find out how... Didn’t I have a lovely time The day I went to the BETT show The TurningPoint team Made come true my dream By choosing my number to win their system I felt like a fool When back at my school I couldn’t work out how to use it Then I found the small card It didn’t look hard And in half an hour I’d composed a science quiz The kids think it’s great Each day they can’t wait To see if they’re going to use it Assessment’s a breeze It’s sorted with ease... But oh dear, the staff...they’re all technophobic To sell it to them I concocted a plan Involving the end of term staff do. The training consisted Of a quiz that was twisted Around the choice of a suitable menu Now they’re all impressed They think TurningPoint’s best But oh dear, now I’ve got a problem. They’re all voting mad Which wouldn’t be bad BUT THE SET’S NEVER THERE WHEN I NEED IT AND I’M GETTING SERIOUSLY FED UP ABOUT IT!!!
